So, I'm surprised and pleased that my mom is keeping up on my blog. (Probably because she hears so much about it.) But anyway, she isn't old, or blind, but was having a hard time reading the white words on the black background. So hopefully the gray is easier on all of your eyes. I'd hate to be blamed for anyones bad eyes, or headaches caused from straining to read some silly thing about our family. Love you mom!

There she is. What a beauty. Well, not really, but we're still excited. I just wanted to show you that there is room for everybody. Boats are meant to be shared, so come aboard.

Last Monday night we took it out to Recapture Reservoir for her maiden voyage. We hadn't been able to test drive it on the water in Arizona, so we just wanted to know that everything was working fine. Luckily it is, and the best part was that when we went to gas it up, it was already 2/3 full. Yeah!!!!

So notice Bronsen in this picture he is nice and dry, a happy little kid, minding his own business, just watching his Daddy drive the boat. Well, all of that changed about a half an hour later. We were fishing. Bronsen was standing on the back of the boat having a great time. Parker was wanting a drink. So trying to be a good mom and keep everybody happy, I went to get him one. I turned around and then heard a plop, plop, scream !!!!!!!. Ya, Bronsen managed to fall into the frigid cold water. Water that was so cold it hurt my feet when we were launching the boat. Water that just days ago had been mountain snow. So Steve is trying to reach Bronsen, but the wind keeps making us drift further and further away. Steve's saying, "I am NOT jumping in. I am NOT jumping in." Meanwhile Bronsen is still screaming and spinning circles in his frantic attempt for help. Finally I get his attention enough that it registers that I'm telling him to swim to the boat. He does and we pull him in. Luckily I had brought a few towels even though this was a driving and fishing trip. No swimming planned. So we stripped him down and warmed him up. Maybe next time he'll be more careful. Thank goodness for life jackets, always a must. Never a dull moment!

I just have to let you know that I'm so excited that you all have got me into this blogging thing. I'm so excited to stay in touch with all of you a little bit better. I can't describe how I miss some of you friends lately. Some days I wonder why I'm always so anxious to move somewhere new and leave the support group that I already had. This past week I've had some hard days. Thinking that moving home should have been the easiest move of my life, but it hasn't been. I need a friend!! I've gone from thinking I don't want to be a stay at home mom anymore because I need some social stimulation in my life to wanting desperately to be a mom again and feeling completely sad about the baby that we lost in February. (Poor Steve, I must be a delight to live with. He's so supportive of my ups and downs. Thanks babe!) But as my week progressed and I was able to read all of the great comment that you have all posted and to go read your blogs my attitude changed so much. They are all so positive and uplifting. They epitomize what is important in life and where we find happiness. I just must say thanks to all of you. Thanks for your continuing friendship and thanks for the unmeasurable amounts of unknown support that you have given me. I love you all!
