9 Years Ago . . .

9 Years ago Bronsen came into our lives, making us the happiest parents there were.  He really wanted a friends birthday party this year, so I gave in and let him.  He changed the theme last minute to Star Wars.  

We started the party with hot dog light sabers, cupcakes, and some Yoda soda.  

Then we played a few games! Opened presents, and let the boys run wild in the back yard. 




After wrestling practice we had cake with the family.  My parents ended up coming to give him his gift while we were having cake.  

 We gave him a new helmet  for 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. He was a little excited about it.    
 But much more excited about the candy and  pop that grandma put in the duffel bag she gave him! 

We love Bronsen and are so happy he is part of our family.

Easter Fun!  

Friday night we finally got around to coloring Easter eggs!  

 Kade loved it!  He wanted to dunk his eggs over and over again.  

The boys were quite intent on their projects. 

 Ya, we're not a normal family!


Saturday we headed out to have a picnic.  


And hunt for eggs!  



 And baskets too!  The Easter bunny apparently hid Parker's a little too hard and daddy had to go help his tearful boy find his.

We were in a hurry to get back to town for Cole's baseball game, so the egg roll got jipped.  The boys made a track and rolled a few eggs, but they were quite disappointed it didn't end in an all out egg fight with everyone.   

I actually forgot our lovely decorated eggs so Landon was nice to share a few for the boys to roll.
