She's Four and More!

Friday, February 22, 2013

Our Miss Sienna turned 4 this month.  For us birthdays are full of traditions.  The morning starts with a pancake shaped like the number of candles on the cake, with a dollar bill taped to the bottom of the plate!

Then Grandpa and Grandma Einerson always call first thing to sing you Happy Birthday.  They got this tradition from my Grandpa Johnson. He would always call and sing to you before school. I remember one year he forgot to call my cousin Shay who was in the same 3rd grade class as me.  So he called the school and had them tap into the intercom system for him while he sang, what a brave Grandpa!

Oh, she's cute when she want to be!

Daddy can't resist her.  He brought her a flower and balloon at lunch!

Sienna really wanted a Barbie cake this year.  Luckily it turned out to be pretty easy!

And presents of course!
Everyone ended up coming over for a little cake and ice cream and spoiled her with all sorts of Barbies and doll stuff.

Sienna is a spunky little girl. Anyone that knows her knows that she can be a lot to handle.  Somedays I'm not sure I will survive her, but I wouldn't trade her for the world.  The same personality traits that get her into trouble so often are the same ones that make her say funny things, be spontaneous, love with all her heart, make me laugh and keep our house very lively!  So glad that we were blessed with her in our lives!
Love you baby girl!

Wrapping it all up!!

Thursday, January 31, 2013

Our final day at the parks started off great when we saw Arial there ready to greet us! It was a bit rainy, but we were kind of glad because it scared a few other park visitors away so that we could enjoy another day without lines.

Back to Tomorrowland!

Then we ran into Cinderella. We lucked out so many times and were the last person to get to see characters before they had to leave!
Sienna wasn't too sure about Snow White's quicked step mother. She really wasn't very nice!!

Toon town here we come!!

Kade loved the little rollercoaster there and had to ride it a couple of times!
 Quick stop for lunch!!
 Goofy signing on Kade's head!
And hopefully Rapunzel convinced Sienna not to chop her hair again!!

And back to California Adventure for more Car's Land, Screamin' and Tower or Terror!!

Parker was a little too excited to bust out his poncho!

And we finished it off with a bunch of fireworks!!

It was a really fun vacation.  Vacations don't always end to early for me, but reality definitely sets in a little too soon when we get back!!

Just thankful for all the fun memories!!

California Adventure!!!

Our second day we started in California Adventure and ended up being there the whole day!

We started out seeing Minnie ready for flight

And Duffy "the official Disney bear".  Who knew?

And Buzz (Kade's favorite) took off right before we got to the front of the line, but we got to see Jessi instead.

Since the carousel was right by "Screamin'" we rode it a lot!!

I didn't feel bad about not going on this ride!  They make me sick!

Sienna took the official oath of a toy!

We took more than our fair share of time with Flik!
We could pretend that it was all smiles, but that's just not true!

At the car's ride we felt right at home with all the red rock!!

The guys and braver lady went back for round 2 at the Tower of Terror while we walked the streets of Hollywood!
And a light show to end the night!

Disneyland Day 1

Yay!!  We finally made it to Disneyland!

We started out the day with Dumbo and it was a favorite the whole week!

Ready for Space Mountain!  Poor Bronsen.  I didn't know this roller coaster was in the dark and Bronsen ended up sitting by himself.  He was not too happy when we got done.  Luckily we had Landon there to encourage him on rides and by the end of the day he decided he could handle roller coasters.

We really liked the Nemo sub as well!

Is he big enough to drive?

Sienna lucked into quite a few princesses. Thanks Tye for that!! Sleeping Beauty is her favorite!

Heading into Indiana Jones!  This was the ride the boys were most excited about!
It was super fun to catch moments like these!

Sienna was very excited about watching the parade and waving at all the princesses.  She actually got several waves back!

And then we ended the night the way we started, with the carousel and Dumbo!!
